Refund Policy for Force Majeure: In the event that a tour or any part thereof cannot be conducted due to Force Majeure or Vis Majeure, Gateway Travels shall not be obligated to provide any refund. However, the Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to issue refunds based on factors such as the number of participants and the cancellation policies of suppliers like hoteliers and coach operators. The decision of Gateway Travels regarding the amount of the refund shall be final. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within a minimum of 15 to 45 days.

Unused Services and Amendments: Gateway Travels shall not provide any refund if the client does not or cannot utilize any of the services included in the tour package, such as hotels, sightseeing, rides, cruises, meals, entrance fees, or optional tours, for any reason whatsoever. Refunds for amendments and cancellations, if any, will be paid directly to the client via NEFT/RTGS/Crossed cheque or credited back to their credit card account, at the discretion of the company. This refund process may take at least 45 days. Clients also have the option to retain their refund money with Gateway Travels and receive a credit certificate, which can be utilized within 24 months.

Conditions of Travel:

  • Clients must adhere strictly to the Tour Program. No refunds will be provided if the client fails to join the group at the start of the tour, joins later, or leaves before the tour concludes.
  • Clients are responsible for reaching the designated meeting point at the appointed time and date.
  • No claims for refund of unutilized services will be entertained if a client discontinues the tour due to illness, death, loss of travel documents, or any other reason.
  • If a client cancels the main tour after availing pre-tour services or part thereof, it will be treated as a “no show,” and no refund will be provided for the unutilized services.
  • Gateway Travels reserves the right to revoke tour membership of any client whose behavior disrupts the tour’s smooth operation or compromises the safety or enjoyment of other passengers, with no liability to such person.
  • The immunities provided under this contract extend to Gateway Travels’ employees, directors, managers, and agents, but not to independent contractors.
  • It is a condition of booking that clients procure holiday insurance at their own cost.
  • Prices quoted in our website/brochure are subject to change due to factors such as fuel costs, special/high season charges by suppliers, or increases in airline/rail charges before departure. Clients are responsible for paying any such price increases in full before departure.
  • Any legal action against Gateway Travels must be initiated within 7 days of the tour’s conclusion, failing which the client relinquishes all rights under or arising from the contract.
  • Gateway Travels reserves the right to withdraw any travel scheme offering discounts or benefits at any time unless explicitly stated otherwise.
