Overview
Shillong, the capital of the state of Meghalaya, offers an eclectic mix of the old world charm and modern day flurry. This city has found its haven in the East Khasi Hills, and is a perfect spot to spend your vacations, away from the pollution and noise of the cities. And unlike the backbreaking roads of the North-East, Shillong actually has really good roads, making it an easy trip.
Day 1
- Early morning after breakfast we’ll pick you up from , Guwahati and visit the world famous Maa Kamakhya Temple.
- After that will proceed to Shillong.
- En – route visit Barapani Lake (Umiam).
- May engage you for a Speed boat ride or Jet Ski at Umiam Lake.
- Enjoy upper view of Umiam Lake.
- Upon arrival at Shillong will do Local sightseeing including Wards Lake, Lady Hyderi Park, Cathedral Church, Golf Course, Don Bosco Museum (closed on Sunday), etc.
- Evening free Leisure at police bazaar in Shillong.
- Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 2
- Early morning after breakfast will drive to Cherrapunjee.
- Upon arrival at Cherrapunjee will do local sightseeing including Mawsmai Cave, Nohkalikai Falls, Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Wakaba Falls and Seven Sister Falls.
- After that will drop you at the Hotel.
Day 3
- Early morning after breakfast will return back to Shillong.
- En-route will visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak (the highest peak of Meghalaya) and the famous Laitlum Canyons.
- After that will drop you at the Hotel.
Day 4
- Early morning after breakfast (sharp 7:30 am), we’ll drive you back to Guwahati for your onward journey.
- After that will drop you to Guwahati Railway station.
- Your Tour ends here with sweet and happy memories.
